Coriander
Eau de Parfum
Glossy leaves, cubeb leaves, green peppercorns, and cracked Ukrainian coriander seeds. Cool spices and the Black Sea breeze—like the hills above Odessa.
Coriander is cool. It's a spice, but it's cool. When we think of spices, we think of warmth: nutmeg, ginger, clove, cinnamon. We imagine roaring fires, winter warmth, or the tropical climates in which these plants grow. Of course, you can turn these on their head with a little perfume magic. But coriander is cool. It's fresh, green, pungent, and reminiscent of grass, the expanse of fields, the expansive sea.
Our coriander fragrance builds on these qualities. It's the coriander from the hills above Odessa on the Black Sea. Large stands of furrowed seeds in stoneware, looking down on ships in the harbor.
The top note is fresh, spicy coriander, enhanced by juicy green lime peel and the pungent aroma of Moroccan rosemary (which is more rounded than that from Eastern Europe). Cubeb seeds—black pepper's noble cousin—add even more dry, musky, and rounded freshness.
Clary sage takes over the baton of herbal character and carries it into the fresh heart note. There, at the heart, is radiant ether—aquatic materials and the ever-present amber coolness of Iso E Super & Co., along with the lush, hay-like lavender absolute. The base of green moss and milky musk holds together the persistent freshness of the cool spices.
It's an everyday fragrance, light enough to blend into the skin and project its presence with a subtle aura, or as the French say, "je ne sais pas." Fresh, yet unique with its intense, green radiance.
