Named after "Lotion Elite"—a Floris shaving cream that first appeared in our catalog in 1851, Elite was initially a perennial favorite in the Floris range, demonstrating that patience truly pays off in the art of perfume creation. Throughout the 1980s, it had a small, loyal following, and its admirers grew in number, both domestically and on the continent, as exports to Europe increased. Elite has now become an icon of the Floris collection. It has found a second home among devotees around the world, particularly in Italy, where the fragrance grew in popularity and remains so today, 40 years after its launch.
