Apply the product to dry skin after shaving, as borage oil helps the skin retain its natural moisture.

After shaving, your skin is particularly sensitive. To prevent dryness and irritation, apply a moisturizing shaving balm immediately after shaving, containing aloe vera and menthol for a cooling effect. Our alcohol-free aftershave balms are enriched with British extracts of willow, hops, and oats, and also contain a high-quality blend of blackcurrant and rapeseed oil to soothe sensitive skin.

The gentle woody notes are enlivened by a cool citrus accord of bergamot, lemon, and orange, underpinned by the green, resinous notes of cedar leaf and spicy juniper berries. Lavender and fir balsam with a hint of laurel characterize the heart note, and are reinforced by the woody notes of patchouli and vetiver. Mossy notes then play a leading role as the fragrance unfolds with amber, musk, and a hint of leather in the base note.

Since its creation in 1979 by the late Michael Bodenham, Elite has been a favourite Floris family fragrance to which they return again and again. Named after "Lotion Elite" - a Floris shaving cream that first appeared in our catalogue in 1851. Elite was initially a slow burn in the Floris range, illustrating that patience really does pay off in the art of perfumery. Throughout the 1980s, it developed a small, loyal following and its admirers grew, both domestically and across the continent as exports to Europe increased. Elite has now become an iconic part of the Floris collection. It has found a second home among followers around the world, particularly in Italy, where the fragrance became increasingly popular and remains so today, 40 years after its launch.
