Old diaries and letters to Jermyn Street from the 19th century chronicled the travels of Robert Floris and his adventures in the southern Mediterranean. Robert traveled the Ligurian coast from France to Italy, searching for new overseas raw materials to bring home. He was particularly struck by the aromatic scent of the island's maquis shrubs, whose fragrance spread across the coast and greeted one even before one arrived. From this wonderful fragrance, paired with the wonderfully fragrant orange blossom trees that grow along the coast, Neroli Voyage was born.
