Special No. 127 was created in 1890 for the Russian Prince Orloff and called "Orloff Special." Later, the fragrance was added to the Floris repertoire and renamed after the page in the "Specials" recipe book where the recipe was recorded. Over the years, the fragrance became a favorite for men and women. Its loyal followers included Eva Peron and Winston Churchill. A receipt sent to Winston Churchill for an order of Special No. 127 is still in the cabinets at 89 Jermyn Street, while his records are on display in our perfumery.
