Sticky Fingers
Parfum extract
Description: Spicy patchouli, powdery tobacco and leather
Mood: Rocking, elegant, decadent, luxurious
A lush and elegant patchouli is the protagonist of this “rock-elegant” creation.
A tangy, spicy opening reveals leather and tobacco, embedded in iris butter. It embodies a wild yet carefree atmosphere, sophisticated yet sensual, elegant and original.
The creation of Sticky Fingers:
Sticky Fingers doesn't just stick to your fingers, but also, in a perverse way, to your thoughts.
This perfume revolves around patchouli—in a decadent and sumptuous interpretation. The top note immediately lays out its powerful weapons: an intense, almost alcoholic patchouli and leather. It's somehow wild and carefree, dangerously dressed in leather, yet playful. The drydown becomes softer and more complex, thanks to a wicked iris butter that softens and intrigues the whole atmosphere. Don't let the iris fool you; there's no romance going on here: tobacco leaves are rolled, the leather jacket is thrown somewhere, and finally, the delightful and seductive scent of skin emerges.
Many intertwined reasons and personal mental associations led me to this creation and its title.
This perfume is as tempting as chocolate sticking all over your fingers, and you can't help but lick them. Mind you, this isn't a gourmand fragrance, and licking your fingers is a metaphor that refers to other types of irresistible temptations.
An important reference is certainly the iconic 1971 album of the same name. I love rock and the 70s for what they brought to music, but above all, I love this album cover.
It stayed with me for a long time, as a record store just around the corner displayed it in its window, and I was confronted with it every day. That cover literally stuck in my mind, and when I started thinking about the mood of this perfume, I couldn't help but think of it.
