This is a story from a bygone era about a secret encounter between two lovers. It depicts the contradictions between sense and sensuality, prudishness and passion. The lovers are driven by desire, but their upbringing holds them back.

Rich in natural raw materials, jasmine and leather are the protagonists of this perfume. I used a beautiful Egyptian jasmine to create a slightly narcotic accord that pairs best with leather. For this base, I used a bit of castoreum, which was carefully crafted while preserving its animalic facets.

The opening captures the shy yet sparkling mood of the moment they meet, with bergamot, honey, and a hint of aldehydes. A vague scent of pollen evokes early spring nights, when peach trees bloom and release their fragrance into the fresh air. Then the lovers are captivated by attraction and romance, and a narcotic jasmine, softened by a powdery rose, represents this tension. Ultimately, passion takes over, with a sophisticated leather developing over an intense amber accord in the background.
