For this perfume, Hiram was inspired by the natural splendor of Arcadia. In this idyllic, untouched wilderness, babbling streams meander through mountains covered in dense forests, and the air is filled with the buzzing of insects and the chirping of birds.
Imagine the lush undergrowth covering the forest floor. Where the sun breaks through the canopy, fragrant blossoms bask in the sun, their sweet scent mingling with the fresh green foliage.
'Arcadia' is one of the classic fragrances known as fougère, or "fern-like." Since there is no natural fern fragrance oil, fougère perfumes always consist of a combination of fragrance oils reminiscent of ferns.
Aromatic French lavender and Italian bergamot dominate the top note of 'Arcadia,' before jasmine and rose provide floral nuances. Tonka bean, aged patchouli, and New Caledonian sandalwood add depth to the composition.
