Boschetto is a twist on the classic, fresh Italian Eau de Cologne with aromatic herbs and neroli. Inspired by Malta’s “Giardini di Boschetto” – now called Buskett – a 16th-century hunting forest of the Knights of St. John, Boschetto is rich in natural ingredients that give the fragrance its emerald green hue. In Boschetto, we imagine this Maltese forest when the day’s warmth releases the scent of Mediterranean herbs and shrubs, and the aroma of bitter orange groves that surround Verdala Palace, perched above the forest. Boschetto opens with refreshing crisp, green notes of a 5-citrus accord and neroli, surrounded by bitter and aromatic Mediterranean notes of juniper, boxwood, petitgrain, lavandin, and geranium, followed by a heart note of orange blossom and vetiver. The base note of ambroxan, cedar, sandalwood, and oakmoss captures the sea breeze and musky woody scents that envelop Buskett in the late heat of the day.
