Frangipani, rose, tuberose, plum, and Madagascan vanilla. When I first saw the frangipani trees near Mombasa, they were growing in a row by the sea. We ate the most delicious plums and jumped into the sea to wash our hands and faces. Frangipani simply had to have a plum facet in its formula.
