When we created aétai, it felt a little more personal. I grew up in New England, and the duality of that region captivated me from a young age – it is both enthralling and beautiful.
One aspect is characterized by natural, rugged landscapes, while the other showcases colonial port towns rich with tales of whaling and maritime culture.
This duality inspired us to develop the core accords of aétai. A fragrance rooted in natural features, floral notes, aromas, and maritime undertones, complemented by darker, sensual elements that reflect seafaring culture and dark history.
Origin of the name: derived from the Northeastern Algonquian language, meaning "on both sides."
