Jean-Charles Brosseau
After graduating from the Ecole de la Chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne, Jean-Charles Brosseau founded his own fashion house on the left bank of the Seine in Paris in 1955.
In 1981, he created his first perfume, “Ombre Rose,” which quickly enjoyed great success in France, the United States, and the Middle and Far East.
Ombre Rose is now considered a classic of haute perfumery, as are fragrances such as N°5 by Chanel, Samsara by Guerlain, Opium by Yves Saint-Laurent, or L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci.
