Panama 1924
What scorching heat this afternoon...
A man strolled along the sunny promenade. He had preferred to walk rather than take a carriage, as he wanted to enjoy the impression of this new city: Naples.
Always with him was his hat – a Panama – somewhat crumpled, almost unusable, but still elegant. It was the year 1924; in those years, the profession of barber often went hand in hand with that of perfumer.
And so, this man, carrying nothing but his "tools of the trade" and an "Eau de Cologne," traversed the city.
This man was Antonio, my grandfather.
From him comes Panama 1924...
