Bogue Perfume
By infusing resins, woods, roots, and metals in alcohol, Antonio Gardoni produces some of the solvents he uses to dissolve the rare and valuable raw materials on his travels.
He uses steam distillation to extract the essential oils to create smells and fragrances.
He works at night, when the light doesn't contaminate the chemicals and when the smells of day disappear, to make room for new experiments with shadows.
Antonio creates contemporary fragrances using ancient techniques and modern inspiration.
From architecture and design he learned how to build layers and how to think through subtraction.
His perfumes are spaces to be discovered with their mood, texture, light and color.
