Original Eau de Cologne - Rosolie
Cologne
The classic Rosalie – a piece of fragrance history in its most original form.
The Rosalie is the centerpiece among Farina's flacons – a homage to the origin of the original. This flacon was used to bottle Eau de Cologne in the early years of the House of Farina. Johann Maria Farina personally signed each bottle before it went to his discerning clientele. The screw cap and the balanced shape still make the flacon a special object today – simple, elegant, and with history. It contains the unchanged composition of fresh bergamot, floral lightness, and gentle warmth – the original Eau de Cologne, as it once began.
"My fragrance is like an Italian spring morning after the rain, oranges, grapefruits, lemons, bergamot, citron, lime, and the blossoms and herbs of my homeland."
- Johann Maria Farina (1685-1766) Inventor of Eau de Cologne
