Filippo, a curious traveler first and foremost, spreads his experiences like a great echo that overwhelms and spreads. He himself comes from the Marche region, which was largely affected by the seismic activity of 2016 and 2017. And so it's only fitting that the earthquake is the first theme addressed in the 'Délire de Voyage' collection.

The EPICENTRO Perfume Extrait is the fragrance dedicated to this phenomenon and, in particular, to the village of Bolognola, a small community of 138 inhabitants located at the highest point in the Marche region, within the Monti Sibillini National Park, which was particularly affected by the earthquakes. An earthquake is a particularly destructive and violent event that invades the lives of those affected with full force, shattering their "normality" in a matter of seconds.

EXTERNAL EARTHQUAKES AMPLIFY THE TERMINALS WITHIN OURSELVES: It's as if the collapse of safety beneath our feet triggers a profound INNER EARTHQUAKE. Fear and drowning in the dust are the first step, flight the second, leaving everything behind: objects, memories, essentials, to desperately seek refuge outside.

VISION IS BLURRED, eyes and throats irritated by the dust of the debris; one desperately searches for a small, faint light that becomes one's only point of reference.

EPICENTRO WANTS TO BE A REACTION: to become aware of what has happened, process it, and respond with the certainty of a thought connected to beauty. Epicentro is a truly emotional artistic installation that encourages active engagement with the work by incorporating stimuli that engage all five senses.

The bottle stands on a base simulating the vibrations felt during the earthquake and is closed by a faithful replica of a fragment of the rubble of the Bolognola town hall, collected by Filippo Sorcinelli during his first visit.

EPICENTRO therefore wants to be not just a fragrance, but a comprehensive AID PROJECT for the people of Bolognola so that it can once again become Bononia, the land of good things.
