Signature Series - No. 89 Shaving Soap
Our shaving soap is applied to freshly cleansed skin and contains shea butter, which creates a rich, creamy lather.
Beautifully presented in a wooden shaving bowl, carefully crafted from renewable resources.
Orange and bergamot, blended with lavender and neroli, give this fragrance its classic eau de cologne note. The floral heart note is warmed by a hint of spicy nutmeg and underscored by the distinctive woody accord of sandalwood, cedarwood, and vetiver—a quintessentially English men's fragrance.
Our best-selling, fragrant, triple-milled shaving soap contains a blend of oils that promote blade glide and minimize the risk of cuts. At Floris, we've always believed in the idea that time spent unhurriedly at the start of a journey expands the potential for what the day can bring. No product in Floris's grooming repertoire supports this maxim more than the shaving soap in a wooden bowl. It achieved further cult status in 2012 when it was used by Daniel Craig's James Bond in a key scene in Skyfall.
Launched in 1951, No. 89 takes its name from the house number of the Floris store and perfumery on Jermyn Street, originally the family home and still the heart of our fragrance house. No. 89 was created in the basement of 89 Jermyn Street, traditionally and affectionately known as "The Mine," where all our fragrances were created until the late 1970s. No. 89's loyal wearers include Cary Grant, Sir Alec Guinness, and Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond.
