DETAILS.

Centuries ago, artisans used fragrance blends to mask the unpleasant odor of freshly tanned leather. This gave rise to what we now perceive as the characteristic leather scent – both primal and refined. The leather scent note is unmistakable and very appealing, inevitably evoking nostalgic feelings. In our formula, floral notes reflect the elegance of smooth leather, while rustic woody notes recall soft vintage pieces after years of use. As a material, leather envelops like a second skin; as a scent, it only gets better with time.

The natural wax blend burns cleanly and slowly for 25 hours.

Shipping. Due to high temperatures, we advise against shipping to warmer regions during the summer months. Candles that melt during transit cannot be replaced.

APPLICATION.

Trim wick to 6 mm before each lighting. Place on a heat-resistant, non-combustible surface. Protect from drafts, do not place against a wall. For first use, burn for at least 2–3 hours, then no longer than 3 hours at a time. Discontinue use when candle has burned down to 1.3 cm of wax.

Caution. Do not leave unattended. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable materials. Keep out of reach of children & pets.

Tips from Matthew + Andrew. Our candles burn so cleanly that the jars can be reused. We use ours at home and in the office as drinking glasses – real eye-catchers!
