In the perfume industry, we've moved on to identifying and labeling various notes as amber. For example, ambroxan, benzoin, and sandalwood are typically used as an interpretation of the smell of amber. I wanted to capture the glamour of an amber perfume from a bygone era and give it a modern and contemporary fresh look.
