The green and intoxicating notes of the Chiribasa Valley, nestled between the peaks of the Himalayas, just a few kilometers from Gomukh, where the sources of the Ganges are located, blend with the surroundings to create a green, spicy, incense-like and evocative blend.
ATMAYATRA, a word composed of the two Sanskrit terms Atma (soul) and Yatra (pilgrimage), is meant to evoke a pilgrimage of the soul, a fragrance that is neither “comfortable” nor easy, but certainly unique and unforgettable.
The green and lush notes of invigorating holy tulsi basil and cannabis, green plants that grow freely in the landscape of northern India, mingle with the muddy scent of the Ganges and the fragrance of rain. The final touch then presents us with an icy Himalayan thunderstorm that pours over these sun-drenched aromatic scents.
It is said that Babaji, a hundred-year-old sadhu who is said to have the power of immortality and who guards the secrets of Vedic science, still lives in these places.
