In southern Chile, where the land meets the Pacific and the Patagonian wind blows over black cliffs and humid forests, there is a particular place where the elements definitively converge: Punta Chana on Chiloé Island.

Here, the sea is dark, deep, and traversed by icy currents rising from the Antarctic.
Not far away, the majestic Michinmahuida volcano, a giant volcano in Chilean Patagonia, rises.

In the 19th century, a large lava flow from its eruptions reached the ocean, creating one of the most impressive natural spectacles: glowing lava flowing into the icy sea, generating steam, new rock, and transformation.

From this primeval encounter, the inspiration for WEONA was born.

In these same waters, oral tradition tells of the Pincoya, a primeval marine creature that emerges from the waves to dance on the sea surface.
A feminine spirit connected to the ocean, a symbol of prosperity, mystery, and the cycles of nature.

WEONA translates this myth into a fragrance.

The Nalca accord and Calafate tell of the humid, primeval vegetation of Southern Patagonia.

An accord of hot lava pulsates beneath the structure, reminiscent of Michinmahuida's magma meeting the ocean.

This creation arose from the collaboration between the famous perfumer Arturetto Landi and Daniele Muratori Caputo, the founder of the Spiritica brand.
Also involved in the composition is Matias Ross, a Chilean influencer who contributed to the viral spread of WEON in South America and acted as a co-creator for this fragrance, suggesting raw materials and scent notes typical of the Chiloé region and Southern Patagonia.

The myth of the Pincoya has endured through the centuries and even found its way into science.
There is a species of seabird called Oceanites pincoyae, known in Chile as "golondrina de mar Pincoya," whose name is a tribute to the legendary figure of Chiloé Island.
