Iverni: Named after the ancient Celtic people whose name means 'Island of Ireland'. The first Celts to arrive on Irish shores, bringing their culture to a cold, forested and untamed land.
Perfumer's Notes:
Iverni, meaning ‘Island of Ireland’, is a tribute to the first Celts to land in Ireland. When they arrived, the land was covered in pine forests and was very, very cold. Unrelenting, yet beautiful. As a basis for this fragrance, I created an ice accord, which I had originally developed for my husband after he retired from professional ice hockey. I built everything around the icy snow accord to capture the scent of a very cold island. I then added accords of hot metal, iron, and damp stone to evoke the harsh, elemental nature of early Ireland, softening everything with rose absolute. This fragrance truly captures the ancient, untamed spirit of Ireland.
